Located in the heart of the Big Bend Country of West Texas, the 350,000 acre Longfellow Ranch provides professionally guided archery, rifle, and muzzleloader hunting for eight species of game, including Trophy Mule Deer, Elk, and Aoudad, as well as Javelina, Turkey, and Whitetail Deer. The 4,700 ft. lodge offers luxurious five star rooms and dining facilities for hunters and guests alike. The Piñon Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization established in 2006 by the Mitchell family to identify and support organizations and institutions that primarily focus on and promote various educational programs. By working with various school districts, Piñon has supported both adult and student lead tutoring, attendance and scholastic incentive programs as well as summer programs that are open to all students in the districts. Since 2010, the Piñon scholarship program has awarded over 400 scholarships to graduates of Fort Stockton and Sanderson High Schools.

The Family Place is a safe house for victims of family violence in Dallas, Texas, providing emergency refuge, crisis counseling, and transitional housing to aid families suffering from family violence. Staff from the Mitchell Group, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, donated various household items to offer basic needs for victims of family violence.
Funded by the Mitchell Group, numerous employees volunteered their time to build a home in Oklahoma City for a family in need. Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity is part of a worldwide, nonprofit, Christian housing ministry producing provisions for decent, affordable housing for qualifying families in need.
Mitchell Group Employees donated shoes to Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls. This ministry of Buckner International provides new shoes and socks to orphans and vulnerable children in the United States and throughout the world. Since 1999, more than 2.2 million pairs of new shoes have been distributed to children in 74 countries through Buckner International. In addition, Mitchell Group Employees volunteered their time, working in the Buckner Warehouse, to process and sort shoes that have been donated.
The Mitchell Group has active women participants in the Junior League of Dallas and London.

The First Tee is an international youth development organization introducing the game of golf and its inherent values to young people. Through after school and in school programs, The First Tee helps shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect and perseverance through the game of golf.
Council for Life exists to empower women, men and youth to make life-affirming choices. CFL is committed to raising public awareness of the complex issues that surround unplanned pregnancies and providing financial support to agencies that share their mission.
